We are on the beautiful island of Kauai and I am working on my new Sea Turtle Sculpture series. They are fully sculpted in a stone like clay material and very realistic. Each one has it's own personality. I have painted them in oils to achieve the luminosity of the shells. So far I have done the Loggerheads and the Green Sea Turtles. The size is 28x28x7 for the larger ones. I have really enjoyed doing some tiny ones 9x9x3 and am calling them "Turtle Tots" I have a new Florida Gallery in Melbourne at 912 New Haven Ave. Silken Galleria. I now have 5 Florida Galleries, 2 in Hawaii and 1 in Colorado. An arts advocate website contacted me to do an interview focusing on the fish and turtles and my three dimensional techniques.
